Dr. Zong-Liang Yang
Professor and John A. and Katherine G. Jackson Chair in Earth System Sciences, Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences, Jackson School of Geosciences, The University of Texas at Austin.
Our research seeks to understand and predict interactions among land, water, atmosphere, and human systems across timescales ranging from weather to climate. We develop and apply observations, land-surface models, Earth-system models, and artificial intelligence to advance prediction of hydrologic extremes, water resources, and environmental change.
AGU Fellow (2025) | AMS Fellow (2025)
